images (1).png

We are a family who enjoys walking as a past time, We have done many charity walks to raise money for a range of charity's over the years. we have decided to put this blog together to keep a record of where we have been and what we have enjoyed and what we have not.

We were planning on walking the Camino de Santiago in 2020, but due to Covid19 this has been knocked back to 2021, we will be trialing Equipment and giving honest reviews of the products as we go along.

What is the the Camino

The French Way (Galician: Camiño francés, Spanish: Camino francés) is the most popular of the routes of the Way of St. James (Spanish: Camino de Santiago), the ancient pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela in GaliciaSpain. It runs from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on the French side of the Pyrenees to Roncesvalles on the Spanish side and then another 780km on to Santiago de Compostela through the major cities of PamplonaLogroñoBurgos and León. A typical walk on the Camino francés takes at least four weeks, allowing for one or two rest days on the way. Some travel the Camino on bicycle or on horseback.

This is why we want to document out travels before during and after join us and follow of journeys.
